Abstract

Today it is impossible to imagine without modern cardiac imaging techniques, including various technologies of echocardiography, which are used for preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative stages of diagnosis of heart diseases. In recent years, thanks to technical progress in the field of medical equipment improved methods for three-dimensional echocardiography, allowing more accurate and objective information compared with two-dimensional, comparable to those of MRI. The technology of three-dimensional echocardiography focused on the evaluation of patients cardiac profile for the purpose of receiving information determining the choice of tactics and volume of the operation, as well as to assess the effectiveness of the performed surgical treatment.
