The journal Clinical Physiology of Circulation was founded in 2004. The journal presents relevant theoretical accomplishments in the description, analysis and treatment of cardio- and hemodynamic disorders, disturbances of blood circulation in lungs, kidneys, brain and other organs. It publishes the articles by cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, perfusionists, doctors of functional diagnostics, who widely use the achievements of physiology in their clinical work, and the results of their scientific and practical activities expand the boundaries of physiological science.

The main rubrics: problematic articles, lectures, reviews, clinical cases, experimental studies, brief reports, foreign experience and reflect its main topics: clinical physiology of the heart, clinical physiology of the regional circulation, cardiopulmonary bypass etc.

The journal is included in the list of Russian scientific periodicals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission for the publication of the main results of dissertations for scientific degrees of candidate and doctor of medical and biological sciences in the specialties:3.1.12.
