Abstract

We studied the influence of hypoxia therapy (HT) on myocardium performance and threshold load in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) mediated by coronary artery disease. According to the obtained data, threshold load increased by 51.3%, overall performance - by 25.6%, double product- by 27.6%. 6-minute walking test improved by 45.7% and Stange test for hypoxia resistance increased by 63.6%. HT used in addition to routine drug treatment for CHF allows to increase myocardium performance, tolerance to physical exercise and hypoxia resistance.
