Abstract

Integrated evaluation of mechanical prostheses-related functioning factors has been done. When being connected with haemostasis- and hemorheology-related factors they actually may determine either development of adaptive changes in the systems and organs of a patient or development of prosthesesrelated complications. Findings of in vitro research, computational transprosthetic blood flow analysis data, clinical follow-up evidence were collected and analyzed. Prosthesis performance key factors which are important in terms of safety and risks of complications development have been picked out. An algorithmic approach of a patients systems and organs adaptive changes control after heart valve replacement was proposed.
