Abstract

High thoracic epidural anesthesia combined with propofol and ALV (HTEA+) is the method of choice for anesthesia care in patients of cardiosurgical profile with obesity. It is shown that HTEA+ is more effective as a component of perioperative safety providing during cardiac surgery in patients with obesity than polypharmaceutical general anesthesia on basis of narcotic analgesics (GANA). HTEA+ application increasingly reduces the frequency of cardiopulmonary and multiorgan failure development.
