Abstract

In the study of pathology of vessels of each diagnostic method has its advantages and disadvantages. The use in the examination of complex ultrasound diagnosis, including Doppler ultrasound with functional tests, duplex scanning with color mapping of blood flow and transcranial Doppler, allows to avoid some errors and get the most complete information about the studied object. Professional diagnostics of a pathology of blood vessels is possible only with the system, angio- logical approach.
In the presented lecture systematized the basic principles of ultrasound diagnosis of vascular disease used in the A.N. Bakoulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery for over three decades.
