Abstract

Tissue Doppler imaging technique allows to study the physiological characteristics of the heart in health and pathology. Information about each cardiac contraction and relaxation, there may be provided in a quantitative form. For correct acquisition and interpretation of data, obtained by tissue Doppler imaging, requires some special skills and knowledge. Practice of this technology allows you to go to a new level of diagnostic possibilities echocardiography of the heart. In subsequent years, more have been used tissue Doppler imaging technologies that enable to carry out a visual and quantitative assessment of myocardial function of the left and right ventricles on a new technological level, defining the parameters of speed and synchronized movements of different myocardial segments. Possession of this technology allows us to go to a new lewel of diagnostic possibilities echocardiographic research of the heart.
