Abstract

Objective. The present study is the application test of the remodeling index of the volumes (VRI) in diagnosis of geometry of the most specific and genetically determined pathology – obstructive form of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Material and methods. The study was based on the analysis of archived ultrasonic and magnetic resonance materials for the period from January 10 to may 31, 2017. 9 patients were identified, the nature of information about which corresponded to the tasks.

Results. IRO is an indicator that transforms cardiac remodeling process into numeric values, on which we can analyze the nature and extent of remodeling, according to the specifics of the analyzed pathology, as each cardiac pathology in its own structures of intracardiac hemodynamics leads to remodeling.

Conclusion. VRI makes the analysis of pathological remodeling of the heart clear, sustainable and universal, and opens opportunities for further expansion of the diagnostic capabilities in cardiac surgery in all stages of medical-diagnostic process.
