Abstract

The review discusses the problem of recurrent coronary stent thrombosis development. The study of prevalence and search for risk factors of this life-threatening complication continues. Intravascular imaging, thin stent struts and more effective antiplatelet agents significantly reduced the risk of thrombotic complications after coronary artery stenting. Despite the significant progress made in this area, there are still many unresolved issues that need to be addressed in future research.
