Abstract

The integrated ophthalmological examination of 46 patients, 18 to 25 years old, suffering from high degree myopia has revealed the following: 1st group patients with rudiments of impaired embryogenesis in the front eye segment have the production (F) decreased by 2.3 and the chamber moisture outflow (C) decreased by 1.7 with the Vd in the posterior long ciliary arteries decreased by 31.4%. The 2nd group patients with mainly chorioretinal dystrophy have the hemodynamic parameters decreased in the posterior long ciliary arteries as compared to the healthy persons data (3rd group). Thus, combination of speed hemodynamic parameters in the posterior long ciliary arteries with clinical changes in the front eye segment is a risk factor for glaucoma development by the persons suffering from high degree myopia.
