Abstract

MRI studies were examined with modified phase contrast method retrospectively cardiac triggered - Quantitative Flow technique. 40 healthy volunteers were investigated. Mean velocity, flux, peak velocity and cross-sectional area values through the whole system «Sylvian aqueduct - fourth ventricle - Magendies foramen» were defined. Our findings show the importance of multimodality multilevel cerebrospinal fluid flow estimation and allows to look at this system as a single whole, with their relationships and influence laws.
