Abstract

Introduction of thoracic endovascular aortic repair into clinical practice has dramatically changed the perspective on treatment of thoracic aneurysms. At the present time, hybrid surgery of thoracic aorta is the issue of the utmost interest. Comparable results of treatment and fewer complications compared to conventional aortic repair has made this approach the preferred option for high-risk patients. Hybrid aortic surgery involves endovascular aortic repair and aortic arch debranching. In the article different types of supraaortic debranching in hybrid surgery of thoracic aneurysms are discussed.
