Abstract

The review presents the main etiological factors and pathophysiological mechanisms of headache associated with cough. The role of disorders of the venous outflow from the brain in the pathogenesis of primary headache associated with cough is the point of discussion. We present the clinical characteristics of this condition and are current recommendations for diagnosis and treatment.
