Abstract

The previously obtained and partially published experimental data on the systemic hemostatic effect of different doses of fibrin monomer (FM) in dosed liver injury are systematized in this review. Additionally, the phenomenon of low-dose FM (0.25 mg/kg) capacity to neutralize the hemorrhagic effects of unfractionated heparin, warfarin, dabigatran etexilate and double antiplatelet therapy (acetylsalicylic acid in combination with thienopyridine) is considered. The hemostatic properties of FM were compared with similar properties of protamine sulfate (in the model with heparin), concentrate of the prothrombin complex factors (in the models with warfarin and dabigatran etexilate) and tranexamic acid (in the models with antiplatelet agents).
