Abstract

In the operations of coronary artery bypass grafting without cardiopulmonary bypass, infusion therapy is an important and integral part of the anesthetic management. The infusion therapy should ensure the stability of hemodynamics without negatively affecting the oxygenating function of the lungs and the incidence of organ dysfunction. Solving the problems of volemic disorders will improve the patient's safety during off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB). Currently, there are three strategies for fluid therapy: “liberal”, “restrictive” and “Goal-directed fluid therapy”. Recently widespread restrictive and targeted fluid therapy strategies have proven to be advantageous in operations with increased risk of complexity over liberal fluid therapy This article highlights the current understanding of the strategies of infusion therapy when working in adults, analyzed studies devoted to the strategy of infusion therapy in operating OPCAB.
