Abstract

A rare clinical case of fibromatous desmoid of the soft tissues of the left axillary region is presented, with the progression of the process to the soft tissues of the left half of the chest and the soft tissues of the left shoulder with the formation of a disorder of venous outflow and the development of secondary headaches. Periodic headaches have appeared in the patient since 2020, when the progression of the main process was revealed in the form of a lesion of the muscles of the left shoulder and upper arm, initially diagnosed in 2013. It is known that with fibromatous desmoid, compression of vital organs or vessels by a tumor occurs, and bleeding is also possible due to ulceration of large fibromatous nodes. Surgical treatment consists in resection of fibrotic degenerated muscle tissue. Diagnostics needs increased attention of doctors of all specialties.
