Abstract

Conduction system and heart rhythm disorders in patients with congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (CCTGA), along with heart failure, are the most significant risk factors for death. Treatment methods include both conservative and interventional approaches, with the use of catheter ablation and pacemaker implantation. Until now, there is still no consensus which is better – to implant an epicardial or endocardial system, especially in children. This article presents a short literature review, describing on the features of the anatomy of the conducting system, diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm and conduction disorders in patients with CCTGA.
