Abstract

The clinical and diagnostical meaning of endothelial dysf unction (ED) in young and middle-aged women with the ischemic heart disease (IHD) were estimated. 98 women from 29 to 59 years of age with IHD and 88 men from 26 to 59 years of age with IHD were examined to compare. The diagnosis of IHD was verificated by coronary angiography. The endothelial function was estimated by the level of nitrates in plasma and erythrocytes, content of L-arginin in plasma, the amount of desquamated endotheliocytes in plasma, as well as by the reactive hyperemia test and original ED stage test. The functioning of the NOendothelia system was reveled to have considerable features depending on the clinical form of IHD and sex. The classification of ED and clinical and laboratorial criteria of its stages were proposed
