Abstract

A case of successful surgical RA revascularization in a patient presenting with renal artery stenosis secondary to atherosclerosis and a single functioning kidney is reported. Current strategies in the diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis, indications for renal artery revascularization and a choice algorithm for revascularization techniques are identified.
