Abstract

We report a preoperative preparation of patients with prosthetic infective endocarditis and anemia by short course erythropoietin. It’s total dose was 79,000 IU. Against the background of its application note stabilization of hematological parameters and increase exercise tolerance. The forth heart procedure and postoperative period was not complication and were accompanied by a minimum volume transfusions of red blood cells.
