Abstract

Objective – to establish influence of volume and a ratio of the poured blood components on survival of patients when carrying out procedure of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).

Material and methods. Retrospective analysis was performed on patients have procedure of ECMO since 2010 till 2013. The studied group included 48 patients. The average volume and ratio of the poured components of donor blood is designed for 1 patient.

Results. Identified the relationship between volume and proportion transfusion the red blood cells and fresh frozen plasma from deceased and surviving patients.

Conclusion. The volume of the poured blood components at the survived patients is less, than at the dead; a ratio of volume of donor erythrocytes to FFP volume at the survived patients is 1:1,5, at the dead – 1:1.
