In last years the crisis of classic notions about lymphatic system in Russia is observed up to denial of its existence as original anatomical system. The purpose of this study is demonstrated place of functional anatomy of lymphatic system in modern lymphology. Lymphatic system is specialized part of cardiovascular system, arranging as chain of intervalvar segments with different structure of their walls, which organizes collateral to veins drainage of organs, special way of flow out of tissue fluid as lymph аnd antigens in its composition. Lymphoid system looks as special attachment of cardiovascular system: lymphoid mufts with structure of different complexity surround tissue channels and vessels as their extension-biofilters, regulating cellular and protein composition of inner environment of organism. In the base of lymphoid system there are blood vessels, which closed into circle, circulation of lymphocytes takes place in it. Lymphoid and lymphatic systems unite on periphery into immune-protective complex: lymphatic bud and lymphoid tissue about blood microvessels cooperate by different ways for ensuring of genotypic homeostasis of organism. Thus, the lymphatic system is complex of lymphatic vessels of different types (ways of flow out of tissue fluid in form of lymph from organs into veins), lymph nodes (biofilters of extraorganic lymph) and more simplex lymphoid formations (solitary and aggregated nodules) with afferent lymphatic ways. Therefore in the base of modern lymphology there is functional anatomy of lymphatic system with its connection with lymphoid system.
